Bhrigu Lake is famous for two things: the endless, velvety green meadows (which are rare at such high altitude) and the lake itself which changes colour and shape. It is located at a height of 14,100 ft. The trek offers commanding views of the Seven Sisters peaks, Deo Tibba, Indrasan, Hanuman Tibba, and the outstretched Pir Panjal ranges.
Walk on lush carpets of green grass (bugyals) for days. You will find wild horses grazing here.
The lake is oval-shaped and is believed to be the place where Sage Bhrigu meditated.
Spot Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal ranges together. The views from the ridge are unparalleled.
