The trail takes you through dense pine forests, opening up to vast meadows covered in snow. The summit at 12,500 ft offers a stunning 360-degree view of famous peaks like Swargarohini, Black Peak, and Bandarpoonch.

Drive back to Dehradun. Arrive by evening (6 PM). End of the journey.
Kedarkantha is graded as an Easy to Moderate trek. It is suitable for beginners and first-time snow trekkers. However, the summit day involves a steep ascent and descent.
Ability to jog 4km in 30 mins. Basic cardio fitness is recommended.
Well-defined trails. Deep snow in winter (Dec-Feb) makes walking slightly harder.
